Assembly and product guidance

From the workbench to your railroad.

Start with the quick-start sheet supplied with your kit. Its QR link points to the full assembly documentation for the build.

Before assembly

Identify your signal family, head arrangement and LED configuration. Use the instructions for that product rather than assuming another signal has the same geometry or wiring.

Have the product details ready

For a support question, include the product name, selected configuration, order reference if available and a clear description of the issue.

Kit questions

Do I need to solder the signal-head LEDs?

The signal-head LEDs are supplied installed and wired. The color-coded bare wire leads are approximately 12 inches long.

Does lamp count mean head count?

No. Head count is the number of physical signal heads. A 3x2 arrangement has a three-light upper head and a two-light lower head.

What does B mean in a TriLight LED configuration?

B means blank, not blue. The target keeps its geometry even when a lamp position is blank.
